I’m Diyendo Massilani, principal investigator of the Massilani Lab of the Genetics department at Yale University.
The lab focuses on the history of human populations and extinct hominins using DNA extracted from archaeological materials (ancient DNA).
Using state-of-the-art molecular biology and bioinformatics methods, we extract and sequence ancient DNA from bone remains and archeological sediment and study human evolutionary trajectory through time and space and their adaptation to local environmental conditions and lifestyle changes.
This website will continue to grow in the coming months. In the meantime, you can visit me on Twitter or email me if you have any inquiries.
Best,
Diyendo Massilani
