We had the honor of welcoming a group of Ukrainian high school students to our lab through the Children of Heroes foundation. This organization supports children who have suffered the unimaginable loss of one or both parents during the ongoing war in Ukraine, providing them with long-term assistance and care.
During their visit, the students had the chance to explore the lab, try pipetting for the first time, and learn about the work we do. Connecting with these brave and curious young people was a meaningful and inspiring experience for all of us.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to spend time with them, talk about the possibilities that science and research can offer, and hopefully spark new interests for the future.
